Choosing the right sized trampoline for you

How To Choose The Right Sized Trampoline.

One question asked before every family decides on a trampoline is  -

What size Trampoline is right for our family and our backyard?

Varying sized trampolines are for different areas, family size, ages and weight. Below are the different sizes we offer and where and when they are the best choice for individuals to make a more informed decision. Also keep in mind that a trampoline is a long term back yard investment and thinking ahead is important in regards of your childs weight and increased social interaction at home, friends, cousins etcSmall & Big Trampoline

8ft & 10ft Trampolines:  If you are looking to buy your kids a trampoline but don’t have a large area, then an 8 or 10ft trampoline is probably the best choice for you.  These smaller trampolines are perfect for a small backyard or families with smaller children. Remember though you can only ever have one child on an 8 or 10ft trampoline at a time. In such a small space it is probable that they will jump into each another and could hurt each other. The 8ft trampoline is also lower to the ground so weight is also an issue so just check that before your final decision.

12ft Trampolines: Perfect for most families with say 2 kids they don't take up too much space but you can safely have larger children or young adults bouncing on them without too many dramas. 2 small kids be on it together or older kids one at a time still.

14 & 15ft Trampolines: These big trampolines “Entertainers” as we call them are the trampoline of trampolines! These are the trampolines everyone gets if they have the money and the surplus yard area. They are by sheer size safer, more fun and you can have more than one child/person on at a time. If you have a larger family or your kids are all 10 and up then this is the trampoline for you. Great value too if your kids are sociable and have friends over regularly as a trampoline will entertain them beautifully for hours!

Be sure to instill safety consideration a priority to your kids regardless of whichever size trampoline you decide to purchase, making sure that you teach your kids how to play safely on a trampoline will reduce the injuries and severity.

Trampoline Placement -

Where is the best place to sit your trampoline?

The minimum overhead clearance required is 24 feet (7.3 meters). In terms of horizontal clearance, please ensure that no hazardous objects are near the trampoline such as tree limbs, electrical power wiring, walls, fences, tec. For safe use of the trampoline, please be aware of the following when selecting a place for your trampoline:

 1. Make sure it is placed on a level surface.

2. The area is well-lit.

3. There are no obstructions beneath the trampoline.

4. The surface it sits on it grass or soft fall material not concrete.

5. Consider the weight of your children and yourself.

6. Although it is recommended not to have more than one child on at a time it is inevitable that this rule will not always be followed so consider this with the total weight.

If you do not follow these guidelines, you increase the risk of someone getting injured.
